Great app to deposit checks

I’m happy that I don’t need to mail deposits to the bank anymore. The app is fast and simple, and money is deposited into my account quickly. I’d like it if the error codes were to be more user friendly and tell me specifically the exact reason why it “rejects” my deposits sometimes rather than making me figure out. However, I’ve successfully figured out all the quirks by now, so it gets 5 stars for deposits. I’ve also used the app to make transfers between accounts, check balances, view copies of paid checks, pay bills, and basically do everything banking I need, except withdraw cash.

Mediocre App

Unfortunately, CaB&T app is much inferior to some other banks’ apps. For instance BofA app clicks the camera the minute the front and back of check is focused. Finding the “Deposit Check” spot takes several clicks. With BofA, the menu at the bottom has about 5 choices. CaB&T is bland. Basically a 2-color app which necessitates staring for words instead of quick color or design prompts. What about having a notation available to remember where a deposited check came from or what is was for, etc.? Even rating this app took some clicks. There are many more little inferiorities, but it feels like a first generation attempt and BofA feels like a state-of-the-art app. P.S. It pains me to make these comments because I like this bank better than BofA. They’re people friendly, if not so user friendly— kinda like a sweet old grandma.

I actually love this app. I had some slight problems with it in the past such as small miscellaneous crashes and trouble loading, but with each update these inconveniences have been disappearing. Now it is wonderful. It has made my mobile banking experience such a breeze. It’s quick and easy, allows me to transfer money to my separate accounts with just a few simple clicks, and depositing checks no longer requires a trip to the bank. I am very pleased with this app, keep up the good work 👍
