Arithmetic Invaders Applications are designed as unique iPhone and iPad applications that both educate and entertain.

Intuitive table structure is used to present the list of space missions. Each mission displays a title, best score, and some basic information of the planet you are expected to save.

Unlock each level to play it. To do that, complete each mission in the given order. A user is allowed three incorrect hits. The mission length can be chosen: 2, 3 or 5 minutes. Completion of the last mission brings the user the highest rank – DEFENDER OF THE SOLAR SYSTEM.

Throughout the game the user is expected to solve the arithmetic problem (math fact) displayed on the invader ships. In order to score, the user is expected to connect the number printed on the laser gun with the result of the corresponding mathematical problem.

Fun for my boys

I had my boys try this out and once they figured out moving with the arrows they thought it was fun. The planet theme is a fun bonus they really wanted to move up the planet levels. It would be nice if you could save different users so that each player would have to unlock all the levels in progression. Right now, once the levels are unlocked they are open to anyone. Otherwise the boys had fun with it.

Good math learning app

Does need to have a setting control to say the numbers on them also for the younger kids since it is supposed to start at K. Also for the younger kids either shorten the written stuff before pages or have them narrated for the beginning readers. The robotic voice, although cute ( & very reminiscent of the early Atari & Sega games) was a little difficult for my daughter to understand.

Nice app

I like the style of this app and the counting up and down is great. It would be nice to be able to customize the numbers being presented so that students working on certain numbers could get practice with just the numbers they are ready for. Otherwise I think that it is a great addition to my math games.
