App & service need work

The app used to be very user-friendly, effective and efficient at managing the pipeline when it was Base. Never had an issue and customer service was fast, very helpful, effective and efficient. I noticed since it became Zendesk Sell, it’s become labor-intensive and inefficient using it, even to do something so simple as adding a note or an appointment to a lead. The app keeps reverting back to old information when a change is made and the call logs, which are supposed to be automatic, only log automatically about 50% of the time; the remainder of the time I have to log calls manually. Additionally, the app keeps freezing. I have brought all this to the attention of service, have gone back and forth trying to resolve the issue with them a series of times, and the best answer I’ve gotten so far is basically that they’ll get to it. That was months ago and the issues are still there. I have logged out and back in, deleted and added the app again multiple times over the last few months and the issues remain.

Takes some time with it

Like most CRM’s there is an adjustment period that requires the user to get familiar with using the platform. If you’re just starting out with crm, this app is simple to navigate and allows you to connect your email account and it provides data on whether the email sent was opened, if the recipient clicked on any links and integrates nicely with your calendar’s. I became familiar with Zell in a previous company and when I decided to launch my podcast, I knew I needed someway to keep myself accountable and not forget about contacting people, follow up calls/emails/ tasks. This app was so easy to use, I decided to continue using it for my business. You can create email templates and integrate data from your contact card into your email. This system isn’t for everyone but if you’re on a budget consider it because when you get bigger and determine that this may not be suitable for you, IF you put information in Zell correctly, the transfer to your new system will be seamless.

User for 3-4 yrs

So, don’t write reviews, but felt compelled while waiting for my food-
Zendesk (formerly Base) has guided our small cleaning company for many years. Love the ease and uniformity. Several different paths to navigate you thru the process of processing your clients. Customization is also huge for us and they make it easy. We are a very small company, but with this platform I believe we look larger. The cost is kinda a bargain, and the support is really good too. I need customer data storage (with pics), a pipeline, and read receipts so I know my customers are receiving my communication. They got all that and a bunch more.
