Description
SimpleMoon provides a simple, elegant view of one thing: the moon phase and illumination for today (or any day you choose). SimpleMoon also shows you when the next full moon and new moon will occur from the "Today" view.
So easy to use
Tap the navigation buttons at the top or swipe to move between days. Use the calendar icon at the bottom to choose what date you want to see the moon view and illumination.
Reliable and accurate
SimpleMoon uses advanced mathematical calculations to determine the moon data for that day. It works even if you don't have an internet connection!
Northern or Southern Hemisphere
Did you know that the moon looks different depending on which hemisphere of the earth you are in? Go to Settings and pick which hemisphere you are in, and you will see the moon as it appears to you in the sky.

FABULOUS!!
This is a very simple moon app. It shows what the moon looks like for that particular day. You can flip backward & forward through the dates to see past & future dates. It lists the current date's phase & percentage visible, the date of the next full moon, & the date of the next new moon. SimpleMoon is exactly that... a simple moon app!!!
This app was exactly what I was looking for, but when I first downloaded it onto my iPad, it wouldn't rotate. I use my iPad in the horizontal position, but this stayed in the vertical position, even when i turned it to the horizontal. I contacted TAG ALONG K, to see if I might be doing something wrong. I received a reply THAT DAY, saying that it did NOT rotate, but he could most likely change it so that it would, & he would keep me updated! Kyle was very professional & kind, & he really did keep me updated!
Ten days later... it now rotates on iPads!!! YAY!!! Thank you so very much Kyle!!!!! Stellar job!!! Keep up the great work!!!
Finally, a simple moon app.
Appropriately named. Nothing weird or unnecessary, easy to use, just shows you the phase of the moon on whatever date you wish. There are ads, but they aren’t super annoying or intrusive. Solid app, deleted others.
Moonlighting
Every night I have to see the moon I photograph it all the time this app lets me see where the moon is at all times. I go outside I always look up first at the sky every time I’m outside which is a lot. Danielle Jeanae
