Relax and enjoy watching graceful goldfish explore your iPad or iPhone screen! These fish are not animated images like in a movie; they're completely autonomous 3D creatures who never do the same thing twice!
You'll love their natural motion and fascinating variety. To get a closer look, just do a standard "pinch" gesture to zoom in, or drag your finger to pan around the screen. (And if you don't believe the fish are 3D simulations, tap twice with two fingers, and study the fish in wireframe form -- kind of a behind-the-scenes peek at the inner workings of this app! Then tap twice with two fingers again to bring your beloved fish back.)
Sixteen different goldfish varieties are represented in the program, and you can rank them according to your tastes. When you've decided which ones are your favorites, customize the program to show them off!
There are ten different environments to choose from; everything from a huge blue aquarium all the way down to a simple goldfish bowl (well-aerated, of course!). You can automatically cycle through your favorite tanks, and adjust the lighting for each one, if you'd like.
If you're a cat owner, you may find your cat is mesmerized by the real-looking fish -- in fact, you may find you need to negotiate with your cat to determine who gets to use the iPad next...
(And remember: goldfish are thought to bring good luck, according to followers of the Asian practice of feng shui.)

Dear reviewer before me - read the app "details" to find out why the fish appear "mesh". It' a cool feature, not a bug. Dear developers - your app isn't sized to the iPhone 5 larger screen - a bit disappointing to your customers, don't you think? Again, it's in the details.
Amazing fish simulation
I used to have this app on my pc like 15 years ago. I loved it on my iPad and it was my favorite app. I actually kept my old iPad 2 just to have this app. It was always my favorite to leave on my desk and work and watch the fish to relax.
Now after almost a decade we get a surprise update for modern devices. It looks even more amazing on a new iPad. I love the new fish choices, and the ability to select quantities of fish you love. The graphics appear higher resolution as well. They took a great app and improved it in every way. I also love that it works on the new Apple TV. It's so relaxing to watch the aquarium on a big screen for the first time. Please please please add the same apple tv support to the saltwater aquarium 2.6 app as well.
I'm so excited to have this app back in my life on all my modern devices. Thank you to the developers for their hard work making this app work again.
Spellbound
Dear reviewer after me: it was an honest mistake on my part. No need to get snarky. As for this app I can say is WOW!!! So realistic and beautiful! Absolutely breathtaking! They really captured the forms and natural movements extremely well, and I'm very impressed. But also I would have liked more interaction with the fish... maybe feeding them or something. And maybe more decorations or tank set-ups, and maybe a few more varieties of goldfish. All in all, I'm highly impressed with the quality of the imagery in this app and I'm glad I bought it.
