Wait time quotes need adjustments

Have been playing with the app so far and testing it out. I want to test it to use for my optometry business. I noticed the options for the wait time quote is 5 min, last time, and off. I would love if wait time quotes is in the “off” position that the text sent out would just say that you have been added on the waitlist. Right now when you say off, it’ll say estimated wait time is 0, which makes everyone that adds themselves to the waitlist think they are up soon. Fix that and I can see 5 stars happening. Can’t wait to try this at the office.

Okay App

Been using this app for more than 2yrs, paid the PRO version. Easy to use, but the app does not update fast enough, it doesn’t seem to sync compare to the website. Quite frustrating, I ultimately have to use their website instead of the app. Not recommended for a high traffic restaurant. Reach out to support, no help, only telling me the device used is faulty or internet speed is not fast enough…I use iPhone 13 and Las test version of iPad with up to date iOS and 1gig internet speed.

Company need to concentrate on better improvements on their app for paid customer, don’t mind paying because I’m running a restaurant and it’s one of the cost, but please improve before I find a better solution elsewhere.

Sorry to hear about your disappointment. In general, iPhones aren't ideal for high volume business applications and their syncing performance can depend more on your network connection and what other applications you have running than whether it is the latest model and has the latest iOS, though it is certainly better to have the latest.

There are many things you can do on your side to improve performance. For both iPhones and iPads, restarting the devices on a daily or weekly basis can help performance. Your devices will prioritize some apps over others, so closing out anything you don't need running in the background can help. Getting Waitlist Me whitelisted with any security or firewall features you have is important in some cases. If you have high usage, you can occasionally go into the app and go to the gear icon > Help > Advanced to clear the historical data and speed up the app. Also, we advising using WiFi that is not shared with customers, as multiple devices coming online can kick off other devices and appear to cause syncing issues. Basically, it is often not the maximum download speed you have but how much usage is on the network and how the router handles multiple devices.

The app is easy to use

I’m currently using it in the tax office I work for and it’s easy to use the only thing I wish it would have is the options for additional messages instead of having three messages per person it will be great to have the option to send up to five messages per person and if it would have feature to add an additional waiting list on the same account.
