If you live, work or travel in Minneapolis, you're expected to know the winter rules of the road. With the Minneapolis Snow Emergency Rules app, it's easy to know when a Snow Emergency is in effect.
Use the app to:

• Search the Impound Lot
• Learn the sidewalk shoveling rules
• Report a sidewalk snow & ice issue

• Call 311
Avoid a ticket and tow, and help crews do a complete job by moving your car when the City declares a Snow Emergency. Use the Snow Emergency app to know when a Snow Emergency is in effect.

No more useful than the website
This is just the same map that is on the city’s website with no extra features (except push notifications, which you can already sign up to get through text message). It would be much more helpful to have an app that tracks which day of the snow emergency the city is on, and which also includes winter parking regulations, which are separate from snow emergency parking rules.
Nifty lil app
I saw a buddy from Facebook posted this and so I downloaded it as well.
I received a call from the city of Minneapolis about the snow emergency but I forgot what side to park on, so I busted out my phone and checked this app and come morning my car was still their. Thanks to all that made this app:)
