Description
From the creator of BalusterPro comes StairBuilderPro, a unique stair stringer layout tool designed specifically for the iPad. Simply enter your dimensions on the graphical interface and StairBuilderPro will plot all of the points on your board needed for a perfectly cut stringer. For advanced users, a single tap will plot all of the points at once or with the step through method, the app will visually walk you through the entire process one step at a time. All there is left to do is connect the dots and cut along these lines. It is that simple. Unlike all the other stair stringer layout guides, there is no need for a framing square, stair gauges or any previous knowledge for building stairs. The only tools you will need are a pencil, tape measure, straight edge and a saw! Works in both imperial and metric measurements.

I love this app.
This app makes stair layout a breeze. I've used it for years.
Disappointed
I am totally disappointed with this app. Once I completed the input and got the layout printout, I proceeded to layout the 2x12. When I got to the end of the board the last riser was way out of wack. I then went back to check all the treads and risers, and noticed the treads were not equal in measurements. Some were 11 1/2 and some were 12 1/2 and one was 11". Soooo, I went back to the old tried and true method of figuring it out myself. My way the stairs came out perfect.... Glad I only wasted 4.99 on this app.
Disappointing
Used to work great. Had the app on all my portable devices. Now it only runs on devices with an M1 chip. Really counter productive, since my version of a less than 1 year old iPhone 13, doesn’t have that chip. The phone is where I need it the most. Developer website links do not work, to report the issue. I’ll be shopping for a new app. Really disappointing as I paid money for this app, you ought to make it work. 😡😡😡😡

The app is designed for iPad only and has never worked on an iPhone. I am running it on an original iPad and a newer iPad mini with no issues, and these devices are not running the M1.
