Description

Subaku, Japanese for Number Explosion, is just as it sounds. You touch a number, it explodes (value decreases by one), then the surrounding numbers pick up some of the collateral explosion (value increases by one). Easy to learn and difficult to master, Subaku will keep you entertained for hours as you devise strategies to attack each puzzle and complete them in as few moves as possible.

Subaku contains one hundred puzzles to solve and master. Also available to play is "Endless Mode" where the goal is to make matches while not letting the board clear.

Soundtrack by Eirik Suhrke. (Spelunky, Super Crate Box, Ridiculous Fishing)

Fun, Challenging and Addicting!

This is a fantastic numbers game that is easy to learn but that doesn't mean it's easy to master. There are many different levels and you try to beat the target score for each level. It even keeps track of your best score so you can return to any level and try to better your own score. I'm in my fifties and I love it...my kids love it (they're in their 20s)...and my friends little kids love it. You can play it for a few minutes, a few hours or all day...really, it's addicting and fun! You won't have more fun for a dollar...give it a try!

Great concept, but something is missing

I really enjoy puzzle and match-3 games, and this game has an interesting and compelling core mechanic. The presentation and UI are awkward, though. Buttons don't look like buttons, navigating through menus feels clunky and clearing numbers off of the board could feel more satisfying. Could benefit from a stronger, more integrated tutorial as well.
