Freecell ‪►‬ 4+

App is simply the Freecell card game displayed in landscape only. It is easy to play while the solutions to solve each deal are pleasantly challenging. When you win there is an “You won!” type animation and then a static ad displays. No annoying ad videos taking over the screen, hijacking the X button for 30 seconds, on repeat ad nauseam. The next deal can be dealt and played right away. Bottom line: No bells and whistles just simply playing.

Layout is perfect; been playing it for years. Ads do not interrupt the play and are brief. Highly recommend it. I’ve even checked out some of the advertisers. The game still plays great on my iPhone, and until today it played well on my iPad. Now all of a sudden it shuts down as soon as I open it on the iPad. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled several times. Turned off the iPad several times. No luck. Tried to report an issue but was told reporting has been canceled. The developer has been great about responding to my concerns previously. Hopefully an idea or solution will come forth.

I have tried many different freecell games, but I always dump them and come back to this one. The Ads are not annoying and disappear immediately when I start a game. The only reason I don’t give it a perfect rating is two-fold. First, when you start a game you are automatically assessed one move, even though you have not moved anything. That’s not correct. Second, I think you should have the option of not logging in to the global network. I only play alone. Don’t care about other players and don’t want to know what they have done.
