Updates?

This is one of my favorite apps to use but lately, it has been freezing up on me. Will you have any updates soon?

If your freezing issue is new, most likely its an environmental change - look at your Wifi networking first, since its almost always the cause. Try a wired lightning to ethernet connection.

Great app

Solid functionality, and works like a charm; would love to have cut and fade functionality in the lite version; those are the only extra functions we would need to take this to the next level: that being said, it is understandable that this would be in the more expensive version

Great Idea...poorly implemented.

This is an app Blackmagic should have made. Great idea, but app crashes WAY TOO OFTEN. An app shouldn’t crash if it has trouble connecting with WiFi, and the developer gives the same excuse...”it’s the routers fault.” I don’t blame the router when Safari crashes. There are a lot of bugs to work out of this app before it’s useful in a “real” switching environment. I’ll give it 2 stars for the creativity of attempting something that has real potential to be useful.

Hi Jernap. It's important to understand that Strata is not 'crashing' as you suggest, but it's actually being forcibly closed by iOS because its 'stuck' - due to the network connectivity. If you try a wired ethernet connection I am certain your experience will be totally different (but with the same Strata software). Almost all issues related to apparent 'crashing' or problems connecting are due to intermittent or latent WIFI connectivity. There can be many reasons why your WIFI connection is not reliable, including interference from other devices, and most often, different compatibility with routers. Our users report Apple Airport routers appear noticeably more reliable with Strata. Alternatively you can now setup a wired ethernet connection to your iPad which may completely solve any interference issues.
