Has potential but leaves more to be desired

Honestly, I love the game. It’s fun, it looks GREAT, the art style is charming but what takes away from the enjoyment, for me, are the fishing mechanics and how random they seem to be.
I don’t enjoy the fact that i’ll go fishing for something a lil’ more on the rare side and I’ll offer maybe 1 or 2 different offerings like a Sallow Skeleton on level 1 and I’ll get a Wisp in return. Or how I’ll offer a Wisp and a Grumbling Ghost on level 2 and I’ll get a Wisp aswell.

I don’t want to sound like I’m just complaining about the game but I would LOVE to see there be more of a consistency/correlation with what you offer and what you get in return. In my opinion it would make the game feel like you’re getting more out of your play through compared to the usual play through of a player spending a lot of time collecting offerings just for them to offer multiple things and get the same thing in return it doesn’t really give an incentive to come back and keep playing. Just makes me want to turn the game off.

Hi! if you're getting just wisps, use the obsidian mirror and see if your combination is correct. Usually you need a deeper reel. Also a few new updates are coming to help see what you used in the past and the combinations for specific demons you already caught

Unclear what to do

Never really explain the point of adding things like the wisp or skull dust to the fishing rod, being stunned for missing on catching a demon is rlly annoying especially since they don’t show how to correctly catch them and then only being allowed to fish so many times before having to pay to get more blood really slows the game down and double punishes you for not succeeding on every demon, it takes forever to attract a demon to your fishing rod it doesn’t seem like adding anything to your rod can fix this, only being able to catch one demon is rlly Boring I think it would be better to give the choice to attempt to catch multiple demons on one hook but it increases the difficulty of catching a demon and get rid of the punishment for missing a demon it makes the game feel unplayable if you make one mistake causing you to leave the game and play smth else to wait for the cooldown or you have to pay to get rid of the stun which after a while isn’t sustainable bcz it’s so hard to get money in the first place since you can only fish sm and get so many recourses to sell and when you do sell them they’re worth nothing since all the upgrades are so expensive and if you try to do things too fast the whole game just freezes and you have to restart this game has potential to be fun and engaging but rn it’s a 5 min play and then drop if even

Hi! Firstly, let me apologies for the late response, i've been trying to respond to everyone individually and its taken me while. So sorry you didn't have a good experience. We just dropped a new update that adds a better tutorial and also uploaded a video to all our socials that has longer video tutorial on how to play! A lot of bugs are fixed, like game freezing, and we are adding more updates as we speak.

Love it but I’d like to say something for its growth

Absolutely love this game. Obviously it just released recently but I want to see this game grow and I wanna support it so without further a do.
Without saying what has obviously been said. I would just like a feature in the library to be added to where you can see the things you have already caught PAIRED with how you caught it so that you can always catch it again if need be and you forgot. There seems to be a plethora of demons and that’s amazing and I’m sure there will be more. It will be hard to keep track of every single one when you get to a certain point. Lastly I think the quests kinda don’t follow the persons level. Like I just started and it wants me to catch greater demons and I’m like to poor to go deeper at the moment so it’s a grind to get enough wisp souls to farm soul suckers or hollowed guy to sell for money. Keep up the good work I’m here for it and I support it I love this game. I don’t write reviews often but I care about this games progress.
