- If you apply with a debit card and a non-registered mobile no. with the Bank, you will only be able to view your account details linked to the debit card. You can request to use all functions at Bualuang ATM or Bangkok Bank branches.
- If you apply with a credit card, you will only be able to view your credit card details. You can request to use all functions at Bangkok Bank branches.
• Visit any Bualuang ATM or Bangkok Bank branch to get a User ID and PIN

For Bualuang iBanking customers:
• Download and log in with your existing Bualuang iBanking User ID and password.

Prompt Pay always fails

Part of the reason for getting a Thai bank account was for the convenience of using Prompt Pay. It worked fine for about the first 10 transactions. Now every time I go to use it, payment fails. I called 1333 as the failure msg instructed, and they created a support ticket, but no answers to the problem yet. I have money in the account, i don’t have a low daily spend limit set, and both my ios and app are up to date 🤷🏼‍♂️

Look at other bank options first - Conveniences Outweighed by Inconvenienced

The hallmark of a good mobile app is to provide the utmost ease of use for the end user. Sadly I feel that this app has greatly diminished the user experience and usability by limiting the number of devices authorized for mobile use to one. I assume that means that a user with a phone and cell-enabled tablet would have to choose only one device to use and could not authorize both.

In our case my wife and I both used to both access the mobile app linked to her account on our respective devices. Until today when my app wouldn’t allow me to use it any more. It’s her account but I handle the vast majority of our financial payments and transactions.

The latest update introduces a “one device only” regulation in the name of security or to hamper fraud. In reality it adds another layer of difficulty for the user to access and use mobile banking.

Many mobile apps have strong, multi-layered security and anti-fraud features while simultaneously giving the ability for authorizing multiple devices. It can and should be done.

A company must find ways to continually increase user experience over time not take features away. The customer will likely look elsewhere to find what they need.

We’re actually going yo have to go another route. We will soon have to anyway as my wife’s employer has decided to switch to another national bank as well.

Love the app but it’s slow!

This app has seen major improvements in UI/UX but processing payments and loading things is quite slow. I think this is a backend issue rather than the app but it’s the only thing preventing this app from being a flawless experience.
