The Lee Valley Library app enables you to view our Woodworking, Gardening, Hardware and Gift Catalogs in one place, on- or off-line, at your convenience.
Lee Valley is a family-owned business that has been serving users of woodworking and gardening tools since 1978. Whether a tool from Lee Valley is one made by Veritas® Tools, our manufacturing arm, or is one of the 5,000 or so we get from around the world, it will always have our full guarantee.
Library Bookshelf features:
-Download catalogs through an Internet connection
-Catalogs range from 5 MB to 90 MB in size
-Catalogs are stored locally on your iPad/iPhone and can be viewed with or without an Internet connection (off-line viewing)
-Navigate between catalogs within the bookshelf
-Receive notification of our newest catalogs right on your iPad/iPhone
-Manage catalogs – sort or delete by accessing the edit function

-Finger-swipe navigation
-Pinch to zoom
-Slider bar for easy page maneuvering
-Alternate to single or double page viewing by simply rotating your iPad/iPhone

Needs Attention!
I, too, love this app, but am continually frustrated by not having access to the latest Lee Valley catalogs. And, by latest, I mean the newest showing are from A YEAR AGO! Their website shows all sorts of new catalogs, but the app seems oblivious.
Needs serious attention!!
Pointless waste of time
This is not the app that allows you to shop in their store and there is no other Lee Valley app on the US App store. This app is nothing more than a pdf viewer and not even a good one at that. The catalogs you can download are old, there aren't any hot links that will take you to the website to order the item, and you can't even highlight an item to be able to find it again, can only bookmark the whole page. Frustrating and pointless. I routinely download the app to see if it has improved only to see that it hasn't so I delete it because it isn't worth the memory it takes on my phone.
Really? Why don’t you allow pdf downloads?
I’ve been a Lee Valley customer for 20+yrs and have purchased many tools and hardware pieces over the years. I love the print catalogs but understand the transition to digital. Still though, why can’t I simply download a pdf catalog to iBooks or Adobe? You’ve created your own proprietary system that couldn’t possibly be cost effective. Sorry, I think you’ve spent a lot of money going down a dead end. It really annoys me that I have to take up more memory on my devices for your proprietary app. Bloody arrogance.
