Notices on startup
Every time I start the app, I get a bunch of notifications about messages I need to review. Even if I review the messages, I always get the notifications each time the app starts. It would be nice to fix this.
Cute but I’m not a kid
Can we please have an option to revert to the prior version or at least one that doesn’t have points accumulating as if I’m playing a game? I have no use for a financial app that attempts to motivate me with a points system. Also, I would provide my insurance company if there weren’t so many blues plans in the nation, it’s really impossible to know the right one to choose. I would have to also suggest that you make the phone number option more secure and prefill appropriately when you are trying to sign up people for text notifications. It put my home number into the field with incorrect spacing, and returned an error message without help when I needed to backspace the bad data you put there. And that was all in the first 30 seconds of me accessing the app. Couldn’t write a review fast enough. I’m sure I’ll be happy with the features once inside the app, but I had to skip all the up front “helpful” profiling steps. Thx!
Not accurate balance
BPC encourages use of the app, but does not provide the total amount of money in the account accurately. Interest is not applied and showing in the app in a timely manner. Mine should be done annually on August 1, but even after calling a BPC rep to ask about it, here it is 6 weeks later and it still is not shown as applied to my account. I was told someone would contact me to reply to my inquiry, but after nearly 2 weeks, I have heard nothing. Interestingly, the annual fee was removed promptly on August 5, as shown in my app. That is always taken out annually on the anniversary date of my account with BPC, but interest applied to my account just shows up “whenever”.
