Description

Speedy Note: Alto Clef teaches you to read the Alto Clef (C Clef) in an interactive, fun and competitive game environment. Great for beginners to advanced, children or adults. Master the six levels and you have mastered the Alto Clef! Compete with yourself or with your friends. Speedy Note tracks your scores and lets you know how you are doing.

Speedy Note also allows you to learn at your own pace – you decide the level of difficulty and when to advance to more difficult levels.

Speedy Note: Alto Clef is very intuitive. It only takes a few moments to learn how to use (even for young children).

FEATURES:
Speedy Note is MIDI compatible. You can use your midi instrument to play the game and learn the notes. (Requires a MIDI interface connected through the lightening port or a Bluetooth LE MIDI device.)

CD quality piano sounds.

Can be used silently allowing you to practice learning notes anywhere, any time. (No need to turn down or off your device’s volume.)

You can learn both alphabetic notation (A, B, C, D, E, F, G) and/or Solfege notation (Do, Re, Mi, Fa, Sol, La, Si).

Nice app for Viola students

This is a decent app for students who have already learned the clef. I wanted to use this to help my beginner students learn to read. I wish this would go by string for level 1, or allow me to customize the notes that will show up to help the beginners with notes they are working on.

not functional

After buying this app it would not allow me to open it, I would try and it would go straight to my home page. I did power off my phone and turned it on again and that helped but only for a little while. I then deleted the app and got it again and was experiencing the same problems. So sad this didn’t work out, really couldn’t find any other app that didn’t have these problems. Can’t get my money back though.. Anyway best regards to your company and app! ;)

Developer Response ,

I was not able to duplicate your problem until just recently. I discovered that the app would not open if there was another 3rd party app that was midi enabled that didn't provide a manufacturer property. I have fixed this bug with the new version.

Should add a microphone feature!!

This is a great tool for practicing sight reading in alto clef. I love that it keeps track of your scores so you can track your progress. The only way it could be better is if it had a microphone feature that could pick up pitch so students could practice reading the notes with their instrument in hand. If that happens, I would recommend this to everyone.
