Circuit Laundry 4+

This app every single Sunday on the dot since September of 2024 has stolen money from my account. Stating that I need to “add more funds” when I put in over the amount needed in order to complete my washing, the following Sunday it will say I have zero funds when I always leave 10 pounds in the app for the next Sunday. I know this due to the fact that I do 2 loads with the same setting. Not only is the customer service provided by the app awful, constantly giving you the run around through extremely long wait times with a machine that does not properly give you the correct information in order to proceed with the calls. The unprofessional customer service that I am provided when you finally do come in contact with them is just stating that it’s “not their department” or to “call back later”. The app also takes ages to load, creating an inconvenience to anyone that tries to add funds or just start their washer/dryer. I would never recommend this app to anyone.

I have had to create, not one! Not two! But THREE accounts with the SAME email for these people. My flat recently changed from this app to their other Circuit Plus one. Getting a refund from this one is a true nightmare and they even charge you for administration fees on unused credit refunds! To then not having their other app work, making others have to top-up a laundry card in which you also have to create ANOTHER account and add SEPARATE credits to it because they’re not connected (nor transferable!). I cannot believe I have to ask for three separate refunds for the same email, which will ALL be charged

When you contact them they even send you an email that you have to justify your claims for a refund AND that any email asking for transfer on credits will be automatically deleted. Don’t even get me started when their app and services don’t work properly! This company is ridiculous and should be ashamed for how they work. They should be persecuted lawfully.

I’m like another user, I am going out of my way to review this app because I had such a terrible experience with it. I downloaded the app and topped it up but then it became buggy and I deleted the app in order to try to fix the bug but the app keeps crashing on me and I can’t even create a new profile. I’ve been having to get other people with the app help me do my laundry. Incredibly frustrating and inconvenient. To any universities or other potential customers, please please don’t inflict this app on your students or residents. A coin operated system would be much better. (Now speaking to the Circuit app developers, maybe fix your app??? The concept isn’t that terrible, but the execution is. If you could fix the bugs and make the app initiation and not a frustrating experience to use, I would be happy to recommend it. But it certainly isn’t fit for a recommendation right now.)
