Welcome to Light App - a fun and stimulating tool for lighting buildings by experimenting with combinations of lights to create different effects.
Get inspired! Create an impression!
It’s simple and easy to use:
• Take a picture of a building façade to start creating your lit impression or use an existing one from your picture library.
• If it’s a daytime image, you can turn it into a night time image with the day/night slider.
• Pick a light pattern shape from the selection, choose a colour for it and drag it onto your image.
• Select from three classic types of light pattern, each with three colour options: warm white, cool white or saturated blue.
• Re-size, rotate or delete the light patterns as required.
• An energy bar acts as a reminder that every light you add means more energy use.
• Your designs can be saved to your device to access again later or share with others.

Very handy, and has potential to be better
I'm a lighting designer and I like this app, because I can take a photo (day or night) and do some quick ideas to how I would use light in a space. It saves time of having to take a photo, upload on my computer, Photoshop it, and then upload it back on to my mobile to show someone, and I can make changes instantly.
Some features that I think would greatly improve this app, would be to have more color options instead of just the cool white, warm white, and blue. A color mixer would be good. Also more light options such as dots/circles to represent recessed fixtures or even just exposed bulbs. In my opinion, those would be a good start to make this more useful to designers.
