A great app with a little bug
Listen, don't get me wrong, this is the best free recipe app I've found. It's nice to be able to write your own recipes AND search for others if you need inspiration. The layout is actually nice-looking and well thought out.
It's just that the text editor drives me up a wall sometimes. Yes, it works well for typing out recipes, but trying to edit becomes frustrating very quickly. I mean, it can be done; however, trying to hit that certain spot to fix that one typo is nearly impossible. The app likes to pull you out of editing mode too quickly and will not let you press and hold to magnify and get to the spot that you need to fix. Plus, copying and pasting is a nightmare. I've got old recipes saved to my notes, you know? It's a fantastic start to a good app, but I'd love to see an update fixing that pesky little bug.
Love this app but slow to open
I have ALL of my recipes on this wonderful app. However, at times when I try to open it, it’s very slow. May be my Wifi problem, not sure. I love that you can copy and paste a recipe from different websites, write your own and share with others.
Recipe editor!😄
I was just thinking I need an app that lets me edit or create my own recipes and after a bunch of scrolling I saw the 2nd pic for this app's description advertising just that. Cute icon too. Would be helpful if they offered substitution ingredient options for butter and eggs though, but I found them easily online. The grocery list accessory is a huge help😊
