Locked out of all functions unless purchase

Just downloaded the free version to evaluate whether I wanted to purchase the full version. Every function I tried says to set up default user profile, but when I tried to set up a profile, a window pops up that says my time had “expired” and to purchase the full app to continue. So - without being able to set up a default profile, it appears there’s no functionality in this version of the app. I just downloaded it, so how could any oppty to set up a profile have expired? Unless this entire version of the app (free) is no longer supported. If not - why is it still offered in the store? Either I’m missing something, or this entire version of the app has zero functionality. This makes me suspicious of the purchased app if the free one is this misleading.

I wasn't even on for 7 seconds...and couldn't select options unless I would purchase full version!!!! Really?
