Great idea
I really like the concept here. I have never been into GIFs until I tried this app. It takes some experiments to figure out how to best utilize the gif motion. I now try to think of ways use this app to capture motion for the best story telling. The social aspect is familiar to Instagram, but I feel it has potential to grow into something unique since this app is still very new.
Made useless by their own limitations
Heard about this app thru mental floss and thought it was so cool. Some of my friends have live photos of us they really love. I know how to turn those into gifs and thought printing them out for my mates would make a great present. But unfortunately the app requires that you take the photos on their app. Making it essentially useless if you have gifs in mind already.
Seemed like they were trying to make a social network out of it and that didn't really make sense to me. They've got such a great idea, why try to fit it into such a crowded market. The little bit of the app I used did seem well made. Only thing that kept if from being a one star.
4 stars if they supported uploading of gifs. 5 stars if they do the conversion from Live Photos to gifs for you.

This app is really fun! You can be artistic or just silly. I haven't ordered prints yet but I'm really looking forward to seeing how they turn out!
