The BedJet is the worlds first ultra rapid cooling, heating and climate control system just for your bed. Every BedJet system comes standard with Bluetooth connectivity. The Smart Remote App duplicates all features of the included RF remote control from the convenience of your iOS device, plus the following intelligent control extras:

1) Real time display of current cool/heat mode, air temperatures and air flow settings
2) Real time display of time remaining on auto-shutoff timer
3) Real time display of remaining time allowed in Turbo-Heat mode
4) One touch memory function for recalling your favorite settings
5) Alarm function to dispatch BedJet with of your favorite memory settings at a specified time (note: With V1 BedJets, Bluetooth link must be active for alarm function to operate - this is not necessary for V2)
6) Custom heating temperature setting with compatible BedJets

I have been patient but this unreliable product deserves a bad review

Forgive the sleep deprived rant. But don’t buy a BedJet.
Second time this week that I am up before 6 AM because the app disconnected from my BedJet, I’m freezing, and to make the thing work again I would have to crawl under my bed and turn the BedJet itself off and on, then stare at my phone screen to set it up again. By that point I am completely awake. The whole point of spending money on the BedJet was so I could have better sleep. This is wildly disappointing, because when it works my sleep is great, but I have been struggling with this issue for over a year now.
When I first contacted BedJet I was told I just needed to wait for the new were version of the app. Waited several months and then excitedly installed. That didn’t do anything. Then I contacted BedJet and was impressed when they replaced the BedJet, told me I had an unusual issue with the actual hardware and that would fix the problem. It might’ve decreased the problem, but I can’t ever count on a good nights sleep. At least once a week, and often twice a week it just disconnects during the night.
Maybe the new BedJet three is better. That’s what they claim, on the multiple emails I get every week trying to get me to purchase one. Doubt it. I think I will be going off to get a nice dumb comforter today.
Waste of money, time. Certainly not good for my health.

Need to update owners manual

Bought brand new from manufacture on 9/9 and had it overnight delivered (a/c went out and can’t be fixed for over a week due to fires in the area). Received today 9/10 and setup following the owners manual to the letter, I couldn’t have a more updated product and owners manual direct from the source.

Played with the lousy app for over an hour only to read in the comments after selecting the options to read the most current that by July you knew this app wouldn’t work with what you sent. Very misleading.

I went back to your website and the manual for my model. Both show a picture of an app you can use, my manual even says “user manual - model 3. On page 17 of the manual revision 1.2 it even gives the instructions for the app, ALL LIES. Your tactics to deceive the customer about having it be controlled by an app that isn’t even in production is nothing short of intentionally dishonest. I bought this directly from YOU. You can’t claim it was an older production or outdated literature from someone who sells for you, I went on your website and paid you directly. Fix your business tactics and fix your app. If all it has is the remote, fine, then stop trying to sell people on magic beans you know full well don’t exist. I hope it works as described, because I’ve had it running less than 2hrs now and I’m always ready to return on principle.

Thank you for sharing your feedback! We absolutely apologize for your experience in regards to the app for iOS devices with your BedJet 3. We do currently have the full app listed for use on Android devices and are in beta testing of the iOS version which we are happy to provide a download link to you for. We unfortunately did experience delays in release of the remote app for iOS, this was previously expected to be out by the time this revised version of the manual was shipping. Great Product Crap App

I love the bed jet but this app is one of the worse I’ve ever dealt with. First of all no matter how I’ve downloaded this and trust me I’ve tried over and over it does not show up in my settings. This wouldn’t be a problem except I can’t seem to stay connected to the app by Bluetooth. To make this happen I need to be able to access it from the settings to turn it to always on. I’ve been in contact with the bed jet folks since day one and they have been beyond wonderful but no one seems to be able to fix this problem and the last thing I want to be doing in the middle of the night when I need it on is to wait for my phone to connect to the unit. I want to touch a button or two and go back to sleep. I’ve found the programmable option totally useless and hard to program. The app is clumsy at best and has a lot of room for improvement. I think I’m just going to use the remote that comes with it and give up on this.

Update, my bed jet was replaced and I’m still having the same problem it will not stay connected and every time I come back into the app I have to wait for it to find the bed jet. Honestly I’m still finding the app extremely clumsy and frustrating. For such a great product, when you can get it to connect, it’s a shame it’s running on such an antiquated app.

BedJet engineers have identified a known Bluetooth bug relating to Apple’s release of iOS 11.4 in May of 2018. With the release of this iOS update, a small percentage (we estimate 3% to 5%) of our iOS BedJet App users have been experiencing intermittent instability in the Bluetooth connection. This may result in the App experiencing random disconnects or an inability to reconnect. The bug is characterized by an initial good connection that may last up to several days, followed by an inability to re-connect without power cycling the BedJet. After power cycling the BedJet, the Bluetooth connection is restored but is subject to repeat of the problem. This bug does not affect Android users, only Apple users who have updated to iOS 11.4 or greater. We do not believe we are the only device maker who’s Bluetooth stability has been affected by Apple’s iOS 11.4 update. For the 3 years prior to the release of iOS 11.4 in May 2018, the BedJet App has had reliable Bluetooth connectivity with iOS devices.

It has taken our engineers a number of months to isolate and identify the bug and come up with a software patch that would eliminate the Bluetooth instability. As of 8/10/18, we have fully solved the issue. At this time the software patch can only be performed by BedJet personnel, as it requires flashing of the Bluetooth module EEPROM itself and not the main BedJet CPU. Please accept our deep apologies for the period in which this bug went uncorrected, it was very pesky to solve. We know how frustrating it can be to have Bluetooth not working reliably. Thankfully we’ve got the fix.

For any of the small percentage of iOS users experiencing Bluetooth issues, you are 100% covered under warranty and we will be happy to replace your BedJet unit with a brand new unit that has been upgraded with the software patch at absolutely no cost to you. The App will also be replaced with a completely new version with improved UI/UX, planned for release December 2018.
