Hockey Horns Live 4+

I do love the app but the one issue I have is that I will get the horn (or boos) 15-30 seconds before what I’m seeing on my TV. I’m sure it varies depending on who is broadcasting and delays but it would be ideal if we had an option to delay notification a bit to match our TV. Maybe one of those wipe wheels with a choice of numbers of seconds delay 0-60. An option of every number in between is simplest but even if it was 0, 5, 10, 15, etc. would be great.

The last game my app wasn’t working right. Normally I love the app. But because there is a tv delay on my teams main channel because of players who are mic’ed up sometimes inadvertently use a curse word. The horn goes off or booed are done before I can see the score. Which means that if I look away at something, ( like my dog for instance) I know to look back at the TV. But the bad thing is that I know someone is going to score in about 3 seconds. So it does take a bit of excitement out of watching the games on TV. The last game was the other night. And for some reason the app didn’t work at all until the horn went off to indicate that my team had won the game but the horn and boo’s did happen through the whole game. I made sure the app up up to date, and I didn’t have any apps open. I had my phone next to me the entire time as well. The game before that one all I heard was the boo’s when the opponents scored but never any horn until the final second ticked off the clock to let you know my team won.

Nice premise, falls short on execution. I’ve had this app forever but always forget about it. Finally got into settings, set it all up. Never once did the horn sound when my team scored. I did get a notification when the other team scored, but didn’t hear the boos like you’re supposed to. Maybe i’m doing it wrong. I had the app open to the play horn section…maybe it’s supposed to be on the scoreboard section. It would be best if it would do the horn, sounds even when you’re not on your phone. Maybe it does, but I don’t know that. Went to click support and it just takes you to a page listing that the app is available in the app store. Not much help there.
