Description

ActionTree encompasses what we all need to function efficiently: Management of Projects and management of Time. Both entities are represented by separate but related views - the "Projects" view and the "Timeline" view. A tap on the view title switches between the two.

The Projects view enables the user to create hierarchal projects. The Timeline view - a view of reminders and events sorted by time.

In the Projects view, you can break your projects down to manageable steps that can be collapsed, expanded, fitted with quick reminders, photos and notes.
The Timeline view provides list of reminders and events sorted by time. New reminders and events can be created and edited.
Links are provided to correlate between the Projects and the Timeline views.

Impressive once u figure it out

Have been looking for an outliner with infinite nesting for the longest time where each branch could be turned into a reminder.

Wayland Chin ,

No keyboard shortcuts, no keyboard navigation, no sound.

Needs more polish before this is ready for prime time.

At the very least, the developer should implement keyboard navigation via tab and arrow keys. There should be keyboard shortcuts. The hit box to check the boxes is so small it takes several tries to complete an item. Give us a nice sound when we complete an item!

Response to the developer —> Yes, I’m using an iPad with the Smart Keyboard. I’m trying to avoid touching the screen as much as possible as it gives me repetitive stress injuries. So keyboard shortcuts for all functions are what I look for when trying to decide between apps.

Developer Response ,

Hi Wayland,
ActionTree is intended for the iPhone/iPad where the navigation is done via touch screen and the pop-up keyboard is used for text entry only.
Are you using the app w/external keyboard by any chance?
I will check the clickable area around the completion boxes & fix this issue if needed.
As far as the sound - no problem. Will try to include it as an option in future release.
