Getting started
You should first register for your OST account on the Standard Online Share Trading website: www.standardbank.co.za/sharetrading
Although Standard OST is a standalone app, you can also download the Standard Bank Mobile Banking app, which gives you a full view of your OST and related Standard Bank accounts.
You’ll need data to download the OST app and use its features. Data rates are set by your network service provider.
SBG Sec’s normal fees and charges apply when your trade through the OST app.

Phone app is great, watch app is silly
I love the phone app. The watch app would be great if you didn't first need to log on to phone app, kind of defeats the object!
Clunky app
It’s difficult to negotiate this app, most especially in terms of calling up the daily ticker screen from which to see movements of individual instruments. Really annoying and disappointing compared with other investment apps.
Please fix urgently
Your app has been down for over a week , it doesn’t even synchronise with my primary banking app

We apologise for this issue you are experiencing. A new version (v 2.0.1) has just been released. The app should be integrating with the normal banking app. If you are still experiencing the issue with integration with the banking app please email securities@standardbank.co.za and indicate in the subject line ‘Attention: Mobile team’ with details of your issue and we will get back to you personally to resolve.
