My sister-in-law asked me to assist her because as of a few weeks ago, this app stopped allowing her to log into manage her cameras outside of her home.

I tested from several other phones, and with several other Uniden apps, but none of them worked. I ended up calling the support line, and they informed me that as of the time of this review (February 11, 2022), it has been seven years since they manufactured camera systems, and they no longer support them in any way.

The reason why I rate this one star is because there is no indication given whatsoever, on this app or on the Uniden website, that the cameras are no longer supported and the app is useless. What’s more, the app still allows you to register a new account despite not allowing you to login to manage that account. The least they could’ve done was email their existing users to inform them that the app is no longer working or supported, or block new account registrations, or have a pop-up a peer of some kind with this information. It’s the least you can do for a customer who may have been saddled with a camera system that is now dead through no fault of their own.

So I purchased the cameras downloaded the app everything was fine until months later i was experiencing issues now cant even get past login without error message saying operation failed try again later every single time, which is infuriating seeing as to how much was spent on the camera hardware only to be able to use it while im physically home, I hope this will be fixed soon otherwise I'm going to spend another hundreds of dollars for a different product and let others know i would not recommend this brand

My original review of this app gave was a 1 star rating. I would add that it was an aggravated one star. I am now revising that to 3 stars because the system is much improved. The notifications still don't work as advertised, but the app is useful at this point. My constructive criticism is to remove the extra clicks required to get to cameras and to fix notifications. Each of those fixes will add a star. There is potential here now where there was none a short time ago. Keep the improvements coming.
