The Newburyport App serves as an enhancement to the Best of NewburyportSM VIP Program, providing VIP Card holders the option to receive local restaurant and shopping discounts by digitally displaying a valid VIP Card. The Newburyport App includes a discounts directory that is updated in real time, making it simple for card holders to view the 180 participating businesses and discounts. Card holders also have the option to receive reminder alerts to use their VIP Card at businesses that are near. In addition to VIP Card functionality, The Newburyport App provides direct access to other very popular features: The Newburyport Events Calendar, Things to Do, Live Webcams, Local Videos, Real Estate Search, Business Directory and Newburyport VIP on facebook and Instagram.

There is no cost to download the Newburyport App and utilize the majority of its features. If you would like to receive a login to digitally display your Newburyport VIP Card and receive local discounts, you will be prompted to buy a card. Purchase one card for $25 or two for $40 and $10 of your purchase or renewal will be donated to the local nonprofit partner that you select from the order form list. You will receive an email from VIPcard@Newburyport.com with your login credentials and program details. Once you login tap the VIP Card image, it will display your expiration date and a green √ mark indicating that your VIP Card is valid. There is no swiping or scanning with the VIP Program. Simply tap and show your card when shopping and dining at Greater Newburyport participating businesses.

The Newburyport VIP Card helps promote participation in a “shop local” program designed to encourage customer loyalty and drive repeat business to Greater Newburyport restaurants and shops by rewarding card holders with discounts EACH TIME they use their VIP Card. Business Owners determine their own discount in an effort to ensure that the VIP Program is helping increase profitable sales for our local small businesses. Newburyport.com facilitates this community based program which provides free advertising for participating VIP Businesses and local Nonprofit Partners. We are a local small business with a mission to promote other local small businesses and to raise money for local causes.
